Jeff Casler relieved Cmdr. DeAndrea G. Fuller as commanding officer of RLSO NDW. Rear Adm. In his comments, Crandall spoke on the commanding officer’s unique role as “the one person who’s responsible for mentoring and developing all the people in the command, and the one person who’s ultimately responsible for the mission of the command,” Crandall said. “That’s why we’re here. We need to recognize that transfer of authority from Cmdr. Fuller to Capt. Casler was born in Passaic, New Jersey, and received his Juris Doctorate and LL.M in International and Comparative Law, with highest honors, from the George Washington University Law School.
