Are you a current or prior service junior Sailor looking for a part-time career that offers the best of both worlds? The Navy Reserve Legalman (LN) community offers a unique opportunity to build a successful civilian career while continuing to serve your country. As a Legalman, you'll gain invaluable paralegal experience, working alongside Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps officers on real-world legal challenges.

- Providing legal assistance to service members and their families
- Preparing and processing legal documents
- Conducting legal research and interviews
- Supporting courts-martial and other legal proceedings
The Navy Reserve offers a flexible service commitment, typically requiring you to drill one weekend a month and attend a two-week annual training. While your monthly drills are usually close to home, your annual training could take you anywhere in the world, from a base in the U.S. to an overseas location. This is your chance to travel, experience new cultures, and gain a global perspective.
