National Security Law

This basic to intermediate course provides in-depth instruction covering national security law topics relevant to operations in the maritime and amphibious domains. Attendees will participate in exercise-driven scenarios and receive instruction and mentorship from senior national security judge advocates. The course will cover basic to intermediate areas of the law of the sea, intelligence law, the law of armed conflict and rules of engagement, information operations, foreign criminal jurisdiction, fiscal law, noncombatant evacuation operations, and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief.

Target Audience

Judge advocates assigned or reporting to a billet requiring intermediate-level knowledge of national security law, and especially those involved with operations in the maritime and amphibious domains.
